Day 2

Hey there, how are YOU today?

I have just gotten home from a LONG day on set filming a music video for the same crew in which I filmed my Fetty Wap, AYE video with. What a long day! Today was one of those days where you are tested by many factors on set. Being a makeup and hair stylist I am taking ideas from several people who I have to take into account when I am applying my craft onto their client. There will forever be a creative difference between everyone because inside, we are all creatively different. Today my topic would be, knowledge.

KNOWLEDGE–the reason I am probably your makeup artist over someone else on a set. The reason I can understand why certain lights will reflect off the skin and into the camera than others. Very importantly, what is your knowledge? You must have a job in order to live life. You must have a passion. Something. Now think about what makes you a valuable player in that topic. Understanding your craft is such a vital part of doing your craft the best it can be.

The textbook way of learning for me has always been a hard task. I live for touching, feeling, hearing, and seeing, then I can do. How many of us are this way? I can relate to you then. I give lots of respect to those who can read and do, cheers. Coming from my point of view the more experience you give yourself, the better you will most likely end up being. The learning does not stop the second you are not doing your craft however if you wish to gain all the knowledge. You must see your craft in everything you do. Taking to yesterdays post, this is the INSPIRATION. Wether you are someone who thinks you are an un-inspired person, compared to the one who lives for inspiration, its there. I challenge the reader of this to think of 3 things in everyday life in which they can draw inspiration and lead that to knowledge.
